Justin Corns’ RBI double started off a four-run third inning for Armwood and the junior capped a solid night scoring the decider in the seventh – his third run of the game as the Hawks defeated Boca Ciega on the road. Jacob Johns, Matthew Hall and Antonio Rodriguez each drove in runs for the Hawks, with Rodriguez also earning his first win on the mound, allowing just one hit in 1 2/3 innings of relief.

The Terriers walked off a win at home as Adrian Arroyo and Brady Burgess drew bases loaded walks to earn Hillsborough a district win over Jefferson. Ryan Arroyo was 2-for-3 with a run scored in the win, while Salvy Urso pitched two innings of relief of Burgess (5ip, two runs, two strikeouts) to earn the win. Jefferson senior Javier James limited the Terriers to one run across five innings of work, striking out four in a no-decision. Alejandro Montada was 2-for-2 with a double for the Dragons.

Senior Bradke Lohry homered and scored three times for the Tigers, BJ Graham went 3-for-5 with three RBI, and Jake Kulikowski went 2-for-3 with two RBI. On the mound Dom Castellano struck out six in three scoreless innings to earn the decision, and Joey Volini and Drew hunt provided scoreless innings of relief.
