Singles from Eric Duran-Padua and Roberto Rivera in the eighth inning put runners aboard, allowing pinch-runner Austin Kirsch to steal third and give his team an extra-inning lead on a throwing error on the swipe of third; Ben Drumheller was 2-for-4, scoring a run in the fifth. A pitchers duel that featured four pitchers from Alonso hold the Sharks to one run on six hits and strikeout nine times – including 2 1/3 innings from Vincent Antuna, who earned the win, and two strikeouts to close the game out by Zack Mabee earning the save. Riverview starter Anthony Jacquez struck out six in 6 1/3 innings, and had a double and scored his team’s run; and reliever Connar Satterfield took the loss, but held Alonso to one unearned run on two hits with one strikeout. Sebastian Rojas had a single and double for the Sharks.

Leto answered two first-inning runs from visiting Tampa Bay Tech, taking the lead and then trading punches with Titans on Saturday. Arley Duran drove in two in the win, including the third run in the first to give his team the lead. Denzel Martinez went 3-for-4, scoring twice, Caleb Rodriguez Molina went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and scored three, and Isaiah Quinonez had two hits, including a double. Eight different TBT batters recorded at least one hit in the loss, with Se’an Sheffield having two, including an RBI triple in the fourth; Sadarian Austin‘s double drove in Sheffield; and Mathew Rojas doubled in the first two Titans runs in the opening inning.

King jumped out to a big lead in the first, then held off a Spoto near-comeback. The Lions sent nine to the plate in the first inning, opening the scoring on an RBI double from Douglas Alvarino (2-for-3, two runs, stolen base). Every King batter picked up a hit, with six different players driving in a run. Spartans sophomore Keywan Massie drove in two runs, and Kenneth Glover was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
