Hillsborough scored a pair on a Kyler Martin sac fly and an RBI single by Jackson Cande in a comeback win against Freedom. Junior Antonio Davis pitched all seven, allowing one run on five hits and striking out four. In counter Dylan Hand pitched all six for the visiting Patriots, striking out five and taking the loss on two unearned runs.

Plant City rallied with a four-run fifth to tie things and walked off a win at home as Wyatt Fordham (2-for-3, two RBI) singled in Landen Robert (leadoff single) in the seventh. Zane Wright earned the win with two no-hit innings of relief, striking out four. Mikey Britton plated a pair with a first inning liner single, and Anthony Alicea drove in a run in the third for Spoto, but the Spartans couldn’t hold off the Raiders.

Newsome battled East Bay and came away with a one-run win, scoring three runs in the fifth inning and getting two scoreless innings of relief from Brady Carroll (save, four K’s). Drew Mega was 3-for-4 in the win, with three runs scored and an RBI, and Nick Balasko doubled and drove in three for the Wolves. Rory Beauford scored twice and drove in a run for the Indians, and Andrew Gingrich and Shawn Dowe each doubled and scored.

After Fikar tied the game, Sickles added runs on a bases loaded walk to Hayden Yost, and back-to-back RBI fly-ball sacs by Caden McDonald and Cameron Guise. Russell Sandefer doubled in the Knights second run.

Shultz worked 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs, and striking out eight to earn the win on the mound. King’s Jayden Hill had RBI singles in the first and sixth inning, and Nicholas Brown was 3-for-4 with a double for the Lions. Four King pitchers struck out 12 in the loss.
