East Bay 9, King 4

King’s Jacari Sandlin struck out 11 across 6 2/3 innings before hitting his FHSAA pitch limit, and that was all the opening East Bay would need as the Indians, down to a final out, put up seven runs in the top of the seventh. Taurean Norman‘s second RBI single of the night would give East Bay the lead for good in the seventh as two hits, three errors and two hit batters stacked up runs. Jacob Bendever gave up an unearned run in his first inning for relief, but went the rest of the way to earn the win, delivering five innings, striking out three; Kyler Browning had an RBI double in the win. King scored a run in its first four innings and Cooper Messenger had an RBI single.
