Emilio Salgado doubled in a pair of early runs for Sickles, but the Gryphons saw Alonso answer with two runs in the fifth when Landon Nunez doubled in a run and a wild pitch tied the game. A wild pitch the other way allowed Sickles to take the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth. Carter LeBlanc pitched for innings in a no-decision for Sickles with four strikeouts, Thomas Bly pitched two hitless innings, striking out three to earn the save.
