Sickles’ Carter LeBlanc held Jefferson to one run on four hits, going the distance for a win on the road. Jaden Nazar (RBI groundout) and Michael Bynum (RBI sac) got the Gryphons on the board in the first and LeBlanc held the Dragons in check, save for a Moises Gudino sac bunt that plated Jefferson’s lone run in the second. Jordan Yost was 2-for-2, scoring three times in the win, and Nazar drove in three for the Gryphons.

Gaither’s Josh Choe (2-for-3) hit a walk-off home run to center field to plate SJ Branham (single) in a 2-1 victory against the Warriors. Jackson Mirza (2-for-3, double) pitched four innings and allowed one unearned run for the Cowboys, striking out eight, before Zach Callahan (1.2ip, two hits, three K’s) and Mikey Fernandez (Win, 1.1ip, 0 H, three K’s). Steinbrenner senior Cayden Hessemyer pitched six-plus innings, allowing six hits and struck out nine, and Jorge Romero hit two doubles and scored the Warriors lone run.

SLAM 4, Largo 3

SLAM picked up a win on the road as Alex Duncan (3-for-3, double, run) singled in a run for the Spartans, setting off a three-run inning with Chris Pope (2-for-4, run) and Isaiah Morales singling which resulted in an error on the throw and allowed a third run. The Spartans built up the lead with an RBI single from JJ Shipherd the next inning to provide the crucial run, and Andrew Bunner was 3-for-4. Jayden Jardine struck out five and earned the win allowing two earned runs, and Morales worked around a hit and two walks to pick up the save. Largo’s Cole Sofge singled to right to drive in a run in the sixth, Joshua Jackson-Valverde drove in the Packers second run with a sac fly, and an error allowed the third run.

Hillsborough 10, Tampa Bay Tech 5

Tampa Bay Tech rallied to tie its game against Hillsborough in the fifth inning, but the Terriers were not to be denied scoring five runs in the home-half to send the Titans home with a loss. Kyler Martin homered, drove in a pair and scored twice for Hillsborough, Robbie McNamara drove in a pair, Ryan Arroyo went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, and Aiden Morales was 1-for-3 with a triple and scored twice in the win. Arroyo pitched three innings of relief, allowing just one run, and struck out three to earn the win on the mound. TBT senior Javion McKay (RBI), junior Mekhi Johnson (RBI) and junior Xavier Johnson each went 2-for-4 with doubles and a run apiece in the loss.

Wharton got the better of its neighborhood rival in the Battle on Bruce B Downs with Danny Munoz‘s two run homer giving the Wildcats the lead for good in the fourth inning. Munoz would add an RBI single in the next inning, piggy-backing on an RBI sac fly from Jake Turer (2-for-3, run). Four Wharton pitchers held the Patriots to one earned run, with Jariel Garriga pitching three innings of relief to earn the win, and Zachary Chandler earning the save with a pair of strikeouts in the seventh. An RBI double by David Simpkins got Freedom an early run, and senior Paul Rodriguez doubled in a pair to center in the sixth inning.
