Leto pitcher Christian Suarez was dominant again, improving to 6-0 on the year, tossing a complete-game, one-hitter against King to stay atop the Class 7A-8 standings. Suarez, a junior improved his ERA to 0.38, striking out seven Lions hitters in the win. Abel Diaz got the Falcons going with an RBI triple in the second inning, and RJ Guttierez (2-for-2) and Jackson Alvord (2-for-3, two RBI) also chipped in on the five-run frame.
