Dante Portillo and Jaedyn Braden each doubled and had an RBI as the Panthers defeated Hernando Christian by mercy-rule. Brendan Gerena-Lee had a pair of hits and an RBI at the plate and also worked four no-hit innings on the mound to pick up the win. Dean Hotz and Nolan Lalond each drove in a pair for Bell Creek.

Alonso’s Renzo Gonzalez (4-for-5) led off the third with a double, scored and added a two-run double later in the innings as the Ravens hung a nine-spot on King earning a little revenge after dropping the Saladino Tournament final to the Lions in March. Senior Franco Aleman was un-hittable through five innings, striking out nine and earning the win.

Sickles junior Dylan Eskew gave the Gryphons all the offense needed with a two-run home run in the top of the first, and the University of Miami commit added a three-run home run in the third inning as well. Junior Danny Bernstein was 2-for-3 and senior Connor McTeer went 2-for-2 with a run and RBI for the offense, while sophomore Chase Centala worked the whole five innings, allowing one run on two hits and struck out six. Gaither’s run came in the bottom of the first on a Orlando Arevalo single.

Plant City 2, Newsome 1 (nine innings)

Plant City won in walk-off fashion as Austin Eldridge scored from second base on an error. Junior Parker Messick had a pair of hits including a first-inning solo home run, and he picked up the win on the mound working three innings of relief striking out four. Dylan Robinson worked six strong innings in the start for the Raiders allowing just one run. Catcher Hunter Emerine came up big catching three Newsome runners on the base path. Tyler Rohrberg plated the lone run for Newsome with an RBI ground ball. Cole Stallings (5 innings, 1 run, 6 hits, 2 strikeouts) and Reese Bradley (3 2/3 innings, two hits, one unearned run and two strikeouts) worked on the mound for the Wolves.

Bloomingdale 5, Jefferson 4 (10 innings)

Connor Berning’s line drive single to left scored pinch-runner Noah Saladino to give the Bulls an extra-inning, walk-off win. Bryce Hazzard’s RBI single and Nico Saladino’s two-run double helped Bloomingdale catch up after falling behind, and Jake Gilbert tied the game in the sixth with an RBI single. Jefferson scored a run in each of the first four innings, highlighted by an RBI single from Jack Rodriguez. Nico Saladino recorded one out in the top of the ninth and walked away with the win on the mound.

A Cam Diaz RBI double and a Shafer Magee single gave Bishop McLaughlin all it would need in the first inning. Hunter Gillespie picked up the win on the mound working four innings, allowing one unearned runs on four hits, with three strikeouts and Preston Perez earned the three-inning save, giving up just one walk and striking out six.

Sophomore Adam Fischel tossed a five-inning no-hitter, with eight strikeouts and just one walk for the Warriors on the road, Thursday. The Warriors offense pounded out 16 hits in support including two-hit games from Noah Luke and Daniel Delgado. Paul Yglesias (three RBI) and Dalton Raeckers (two RBI) both doubled and scored a run, Donavan Garcia went 3-for-4, with two runs scored, and Eric Sennott went 1-for-1 with two runs scored and two RBI.

Sharks junior Dillon Besnier cracked his team-leading fifth home run of the season as Riverview defeated Strawberry Crest. Ty Correa was 2-for-2, Cameron Vigh and Zach Hawkins both doubled, Reagan Jorgensen earned the win on the mound and Andrew Martinez finished things for the saves. For the Chargers, Damien Torres had a home run and Ryan Dell went 3-for-5.

Jacob Krueger worked five innings on the mound to earn the win, as Jacob Hewitt and Ben Block each added shutout innings as well. Jonah Rawls was 3-for-4 at the plate, while Sevas Cardona went 2-for-3, and Nick Kaul had a double and two RBI in the win.
