Sickles senior Dylan Eskew knows how to start off a season the right way. For the second consecutive year, Eskew tossed a no-hitter in his first pitching performance of the season, leading the Gryphons to a 10-0, five-inning win over Robinson (to read our story on last season’s no-no against Armwood – click here). The senior and University of Miami commit, struck out seven in the five-inning, mercy-rule win with just one walk. Eskew also got it done at the plate in the Gryphons win, finishing a triple away from the cycle going 3-for-4, with a home run, and two RBI. Senior Danny Bernstein had a pair of doubles and two RBI, while junior Nick Duran went 2-for-3, with a pair of RBI.
