Sophomore righty Jackson Perkins and sophomore Zach Ehrhard combined for a five-inning no-hitter on the mound for the Wildcats on Tuesday. Perkins was perfect through three innings with four strikeouts, and Ehrhard worked the final two allowing a walk and a run on a wild pitch. Ehrhard also chipped in at the plate going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Brian Baughman was 2-for-4 with four RBI, and Frank Micallef also drove in three runs.

Senior Dylan Eskew followed his opening night no-hit pitching performance, by working six more shutout innings against district opponent Steinbrenner on Tuesday, where the right-hander struck out six, while yielding just one hit and two walks. Eskew also added two home runs and four RBI at the plate in the win, while Trey Bacon was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and Rolando Linares drove in two. For Steinbrenner, Ryan Lowder (one RBI) and Garrett Reynolds (one run scored) each had doubles.
