Tampa Prep 2, Calvary Chr 0
To take down a team that hadn’t lost a regular season game in more than two years, everything had to go right, and according to Tampa Prep head coach AJ Hendrix the Terrapins showing on the road at district opponent Calvary Christian was about as close to perfect as can be expected.

Tampa Prep senior Gilbert Marquis may be batting in this file photo, but he led the way on the mound for the Terrapins in a complete-game win over Calvary Christian. |
Senior Gilbert Marquis gave his team everything he had, literally pitching to the high school limit of pitches to finish off the complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits and striking out four.
