Tony Zavala worked five innings of relief allowing just one hit and two walks, to help Jefferson to its first win of the season in an extra-inning battle with Armwood. Mario Lopez sent a single up the middle to end the game in the 10th inning. Nick Perez had a pair of hits including a double and three RBI in the win for the Dragons, while Oscar Galvez was 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBI and three runs scored. For the Hawks, Trevor Finan had a three hit night with a double and three runs, and Tyler Castelli and Manuel Maldonado each drove in three.

Sam Drumheller worked five shutout innings, allowing one hit with five strikeouts to earn the win. For Hillsborough, Terence Doston tripled in a run, and was himself driven in on a Juan Jaime-Nunez sac fly.
