Plant City senior Parker Messick tripled in a pair in a four-run first inning as the Raiders claimed a district win on the road at East Bay. Senior Grant Gifford allowed a run in four innings of work and picks up his fifth win on the mound this season, while junior Tyler Dowdy finished off the final three innings to earn the save.

Bloomingdale 2, Riverview 1

Bloomingdale junior Dominic Gonnella singled to right to score a walk-off win for his team, as the Bulls defeated district opponent Riverview on Tuesday. Both team saw excellent pitching as Riverview’s Brendan Herrick struck out eight in six innings of a no-decision, and Justin McCallister struck out six in four innings, Riley Moore tossed two perfect innings and Myles Caba claimed his third victory on the mound with three strikeouts in the top of the seventh. The Sharks lone run and only hit of the night came from an RBI triple from Ben Migliarese.
