Tyler Dowdy made his sixth multi-hit game of the season a big one, belting a pair of home runs in support of a three-hit, 10-strikeout shutout on the mound by senior Parker Messick as Plant City completed its three win week against Plant. Cole Cothren was 2-for-3 and singled in the games first run, and Messick had a pair of hits including a double.

Gaither’s hitters got a combined cycle in the third inning as CJ Hanson singled, scored on a home run by Sebastian Greico, followed later in the inning by a Jacob Choe triple and an RBI double from Frank Perez as the Cowboys defeated Tampa Bay Tech at home on Saturday. Junior Albert Padron tossed 4 shutout innings, striking out seven, before Alfredo Melendez, Justin Childs and Austin Grause each pitched no-hit innings with a strikeout apiece.
