Berkeley Prep senior Roman Samson hit a three-run homer in the first inning, his second of the season, and then added a two-run single in the sixth as the Buccaneers picked up its eighth-straight victory and third of the week. Senior Garrett Boeckle struck out seven over three innings to earn the win on the mound, and JT Quinn (five strikeouts) and Andrew Jergins (three K’s) combined on the win. Cade Kurland was 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.

Seffner Christian 5, Cambridge Christian 2

Crusaders junior Joey Jensen singled in a run in the first inning and it would prove the decider as Seffner Christian defeated Cambridge Christian at Skyway Park. Jensen, who would also single in the game’s last run in the seventh, pitched five innings, allowing two unearned runs, on four hits and striking out seven in winning his second game of the season. Tommy Turkett was 2-for-3 with a run scored, and Andrew Ura had a hit and an RBI walk in the win. For the Lancers, Frankie Taylor and Blake McCoy had RBI singles in the second, and Tilden Agee was 2-for-3.

Jesuit 12, Ft Lauderdale Calvary Christian 1 – five innings

Camden Minacci struck out nine of the first 10 he faced as Fort Lauderdale Calvary stopped by Jesuit for a visit. The Tigers took little time getting going scoring three runs on just one hit in the second inning, but Jesuit would keep applying the pressure ending things early as Henry Politz capped his three-hit night with a three-run home run to end things. Politz also had an RBI double in the win, while Nick Rodriguez scored three runs and drove in one. Minacci finished with 11 K’s in a five-inning effort, allowing one unearned run, one hit and one walk. BJ Graham drove in two and scored twice, while Jalen Niles scored twice, had an RBI and a stolen bases.
