Alex Haire doubled and hit his third home run of the season, driving in two runs and scoring twice, Jonathan Bruno was 2-for-3, with three runs and two RBI, and Roman Samson went 4-for-4, with four runs scored and two RBI. Senior Garrett Boeckle picked up the win on the mound, striking out nine in 4 2/3 innings pitched. Stephaune Haylock drove in both Phoenix runs.

Wharton battled back and tied things to force extra innings at home, before Zach Ehrhard drew a bases loaded walk to end it. Grady Maguire was 4-for-5, scoring three runs, while Tyson Sutton, Steven Hotinski and Colton Calleja drove in a pair of runs each. For Jefferson Mario Lopez was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI, Tyrese Cohen scored three and drove in another, and Miguel Denson had a pair of hits and two RBI.

Alonso picked up its first win of the season as junior Renzo Gonzalez cleared the bases to walk off a game at home against Leto. Zen Hiatt started things off for the Ravens singling in a pair of runs, but from there Leto strung together 11 hits to take a lead into the final inning. Mikey Camacho (double, two runs) and Shabazz Brumley (run, two RBI) each had three hit games for the Falcons.

The Warriors came back from a three run deficit and took control in the third inning, as Evan Cuervo started a rally with his second double of the game. Cuervo finished the night with three hits, Ryan Lowder had a double and three RBI, James Strom drove in a pair, and Cameron Kenny struck out nine to earn the win for Steinbrenner. Joey Daniels pitched three shutout innings of relief to earn the save. Middleton took a three-run lead in the first when Solomon Grayson singled in a run, and Malik Berrien followed with a two-run single of his own.

Three Tigers pitcher combined to hold Countryside hitless in a five inning win. Dominic Castellano earned the win with two innings and four strikeouts, before yielding to Turner Thompson (two strikeouts) followed by Alex Bryant (two strikeouts). Cole Russo’s RBI single and a two-run double from Henry Politz got the offense going for undefeated Jesuit. Russo would add a double and finish with four RBI, Politz, Bennett Lee and BJ Graham had multi-hit games.

Bloomingdale senior Brock Wilken got things started for the offense with a solo home run in the first, followed two batters later by Colby Shelton’s two-run dinger, Wilken would add a two-run double to his night and Shelton would also pick up two more RBI. Sophomore Jake Nolte pitched three innings allowing one hit and earned his first win, while Chase Chappell added three more shutout frames, and David Eckaus struck out three in an inning on the mound. Plant’s Nick Lee had both of Plant’s hits (singles).
