Seffner Christian stayed hot, winning its eighth straight as Seth Roberts drove in a pair in the fourth and added an RBI triple in the sixth to lead the Crusaders to a home win. Joey Jensen worked 3 2/3 innings to earn the win, and Tommy Turkett finished things off with 3 1/3 innings of shutout baseball striking out four and not allowing a hit or issuing a walk. Ben Cheek doubled and scored a run for the Crusaders in the win.

Berkeley Prep hung a nine-run inning in the first and never looked back, remaining undefeated in a mercy-rule win over visiting Norforlk Christian. Freshman Cade Kurland tripled and drove in three in the win, while Alex Haire, Davis Childers and Andrew DiMisa drove in a pair of runs. On the mound, senior Ian Brown earned his second win tossing three shutout innings and striking out five.

Tampa Catholic 9, Jacksonville Providence 7

Ryan Valenti’s home run in the top of the seventh put the Crusaders ahead in Game 1 of a double header and Tampa Catholic held on for a win. Valenti added an RBI triple in the game as well. John Batteese was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored for the Crusaders, and Dominic Lefler picked up the win in relief with five strikeouts.

Crusaders senior Kian Knutson was 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI as the Crusaders completed a double-header sweep at Providence. Chris Caruso doubled twice and drove in three, Tyler Whitfield was 2-for-4 with a run and RBI, and MJ Bundick doubled and drove in a run.
