Freedom’s Aidan Kraf drew a bases loaded walk as the New Tampa Patriots opened the Saladino Silver Bracket with a win. A trio Freedom pitchers combined to strikeout 10 CDS hitters, with Joey Wey being the lucky beneficiary of the late score to earn the W. Raul Oliva, Ian Potts and Lucas Richardson each had two hits and scored a run for Freedom.

Elijah Burse’s grand slam opened things up for the Terriers as Hillsborough claimed its second win of the week off Robinson. Kyle Bincarousky drove in four as well for Hillsborough and Bransen Angel allowed just one run over three innings of relief to earn a win. For Robinson, Joe Whitaker and Robert Satin had RBI hits.

Armwood 3 – five innings
King pounded out fifteen hits to get a mercy-rule win over Armwood on Saturday. Senior Dontavious Johnson earned the win on the mound and also helped his cause at the plate going 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs and four RBI. David Twiddy was 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and scored three for the Lions, while Chris Hendricks, Elijah De Jesus, Chrsitian Cabina and Jacob Pena drove in two apiece. Justin Corns was 2-for-3 with a double, a run and RBI for the Hawks, and Louie Guy went 2-for-2 with a double, and a run scored.

Four errors in the second let East Bay rally back on Brandon, before the Indians got RBI singles by Javy Lopez, Tate Gran and a two-run double off the bat of senior Jeremy Galen to top Brandon on Saturday. Gran finished 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI, while Lopez scored three times for East Bay. Brandon’s Isaiah Soler was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI in the loss, and Josh Blake also had an RBI triple for the Eagles.
