Clay Odiorne went 3-for-3, with two doubles, three RBI and scored three times, while Andrew Ura was 2-for-3 also driving in three runs, and Dylan Cheeley had a single, walk and scored three times.

Bishop McLaughlin’s Andrew Duncan doubled in the first and scored what would prove the deciding run on a Johnny DiBenedetto triple as the Hurricanes defeated Cambridge Christian in five innings. Duncan would follow Isaiah Myles RBI triple, with a run scoring triple in the opening frame as the Hurricanes batted around in the eight-run inning. Tanner Boccabello struck out five in three innings, and Joseph Rodriguez struck out four in two frames.

Senior Peyton Petry struck out seven, and Ethan Petry doubled in three runs as Cypress Creek defeated Robinson on Tuesday. RBI singles by Nick Sanchez and Anthony Menendez got the scoring started for the Coyotes in the first as Cypress Creek scored three runs. Robinson scored a pair in the second highlighted by an RBI single by Jacob Maskin, and Kevin Blowers had a pair of doubles in the loss.

Carson Juntilla’s RBI single broke a tie as Brandon defeated King in district play. Senior Marcos Herrand struck out nine in six innings of work, and Kendal Spencer (triple) picked up the save with an inning of relief.

Senior David Eckaus pitched 5 2/3 innings, striking out seven to earn his seventh win, and Jack Owens picked up the save. Colby Shelton had an RBI sac fly, while Drake Harman had a double and scored twice. Largo senior Samuel Pothier pitched a complete-game and struck out five.

Senior Zen Hiatt finished a single short of a cycle for Alonso. Hiatt’s three-run homer in the first, and run scored on a wild pitch in the third kept Alonso neck-and-neck with Plant, before Austin Kirsch doubled in the game winner in the bottom of the third. Sam Meade homered and Conley Strayer had a two run triple for the Panthers. Hector Montilla pitched six innings and earned the win with seven strikeouts, before Sammy Seplowe picked up his seventh save.

A Chris Roberts two-run single and a two-run double from Evan Cuervo in the third put Steinbrenner up comfortably as the Warriors topped Palm Harbor Tuesday afternoon. Andrew Burns went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and two RBI, Tayden Hall drove in three with a double and home run, and James Strom went 3-for-3 with three runs, and an RBI. Junior Joey Daniels pitched seven innings for the win for the Warriors.
