Panthers senior Tyler Fritsch delivered a gem in his first start on the mound, striking out eight and giving up just two hits and two walks as Bell Creek downed Keswick Christian Friday afternoon. Fritsch also doubled and drove in a run and Matt Kelley was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, with Avery Long‘s RBI single into right plated the deciding run in the fourth inning.

Senior Alex Vazquez added his second two-RBI game with a line drive double in the first inning to give Bloomingdale the first-inning lead in a road victory at Sumner. Tyler Clinton and Cooper Hinson each added RBI doubles as the Bulls pulled away from the Stingrays. Senior Jake Magadan struck out six in five innings of work to earn his first win of the season. Jesse Robeledo singled in Sumner’s run in the second inning, and seniors Manny Ramos and Brenden Rodriguez doubled for the Stingrays.

Ten different Jesuit hitters picked up at least one hits as the Tigers picked up a Friday win on a trip to Georgia facing Lowndes. After Jesuit allowed a Lowndes run in the first inning, before Vince Decarlo tied the game in the second with an RBI sac fly, two innings later his solo home run gave the Tigers the 11th run and paved way for the mercy-rule win. Senior Wes Mendes was 3-for-3, scoring twice and driving in a run, Grant Jordan, Zane Pestalozzi and Jacob Lozano chipped in two hits apiece. Brooks Chamberlin struck out five in four innings of work to earn the win.
