Four Dragons pitchers held Middleton to just four hits as Jefferson won 6-0, behind 13 combined strikeouts on the mound. Senior Alejandro Aguilar started with two no-hit innings and four punch outs, before Cameron Mallo (1ip, 2 H, 2 K), Jamarques Benton (2ip, 0H, 5 K), and finally KJ Sampson finished off the game on the mound for Jefferson. Benton was 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and an RBI, Aguilar tripled, and Mallo (two runs) and Isaih Fernandez (run) each had two hits.

Arjun Nimmala‘s three-run homer (his third of the year) broke open a tie game in the second inning as the Chargers ended Lennard’s undefeated streak. Akhil Nimmala and Eli Vickers each drove in two runs in the win, Alex Philpott struck out four and earned the win in three innings of work, before Luke Richardson (3 K’s) and Brayden DiCerb (3 K’s) provided scoreless relief. Jose Rivera drove in a pair of runs for Lennard, and Tim Mendizabal doubled in a run.

Alexander Walker singled in a run in the first and scored another as Palm Harbor defeated Steinbrenner in a district game. Jackson Withrow doubled in a run in the win. Steinbrenner tried to mount a late comeback with RBI singles from Dominic Sardegna and Noah Fowler, but couldn’t score in the final inning. Austin Liss struck out eight, but took his first loss of the season as four Warriors errors cost him four unearned runs.

Jaden Nazar‘s three-run homer and RBI double in the fourth pushed Alonso ahead against Sumner. Christopher Morgan and Keenan Rutledge each had two hits and drove in two runs for the Ravens, while Landon Nunez earned his second win with six strikeouts in four innings, allowing four runs. Sumner battled late and had 13 hits in the loss. Brenden Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with a double and four RBI for the Stingrays, Manny Ramos was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs, and Luke Parson was 2-for-4, with a run and RBI.

Plant weathered a four-run Wharton first inning and stormed back for a four-run victory. Five of Wharton’s eight hits in the game were doubles including one from Jake Turer in the first, and a bases clearing two-bagger from Caden Long. But from there, Plant senior Michael Hawks settled in on the mound, finishing four innings as Plant took control with three runs in the second and two in the third – both sparked by a pair of two-run homers from Kirk Kolono. Trey Freeman had two hits in the win, including an RBI single, and Rocco Demarinis hit his second home run of the season in the sixth.
