Seffner Christian took a short-lived lead in the top of the sixth, before Out-of-Door Academy took advantage of a sloppy inning to score six runs with just one hit – Griffin DeRusso‘s RBI double – giving the Thunder the lead. Jack Hobson hit a solo homer for ODA, and earned the save with a 1-2-3 seventh inning. Garrett Morgan was 2-for-3 with a double for Seffner Christian, and Shay Dean and Colin McNeal drove in runs for the Crusaders.

Northside’s Aiden Alvarez (5ip, three walks, 10 K’s) and Andreas Alvarez (1ip, three K’s) held Carrollwood Day hitless in a six-inning, mercy-rule win. Andrew Williamson went 4-for-4 with two homers, a double and five RBI. Northside Christian will host Naples Neumann on Friday.

Calvary’s Keaton Burroughs drove in six runs to support Liam Peterson‘s start on the mound as the Warriors defeated Bell Creek in six innings. Peterson struck out nine in his five innings of work allowing one unearned run on two hits and three walks. Hayden Porter led off the Panthers’ fifth with a single, moved around on an error and groundout, before scoring on a ground out by Andrew Golden. Calvary Christian will host Fort Myers Bishop Verot in Friday’s Region Semifinal.

Tampa Catholic’s Roman Corinti struck out 10 and allowed just three hits to lead the Crusaders to a win. Bransen Angel took to the mound to finish off the final out of the game and earn the save. Maddox King walked and stole second in the fourth inning, and Alex Sotiropoulos drove in the deciding run with a line drive single into left. Hershey Sanchez was 2-for-3, and Danny Lazaro was 1-or-2, scoring on a bases loaded walk issued to Lucas Cinnante. Tampa Catholic will host Berkeley Prep in Friday’s Region semi.

After giving up a run in the second, Berkeley Prep came to life, batting around in the third inning as Troy Reader drove in his team’s first run on a single. The senior would add two home runs on the night, driving in four runs. Jojo Troupe doubled twice and drove in a pair, while Wyatt Ewanowski, Gus Barrido, and Josh Hermann each had two hits in the win. Freshman George Cook struck out five in five innings of work, allowing one run on five hits. Berkeley Prep will travel to Tampa Catholic for Friday’s Region Semifinal.
