Baseball Head Coach Questionnaire

Coaches: We are excited to be a small part of your teams' 2026 season for 813Preps' TENTH coverage season. Many of you have been a huge part of our coverage for most or all of those seasons and I am grateful for your collaboration with us as we try and continue to bring the BEST high school baseball coverage in the country. My hope is you will forgive me this bit of "homework" and fill this survey out to the best of your abilities. I know a lot of you figure I know all this stuff, BUT there are a lot of teams to keep up with and a little refresher always helps as we get started. PLEASE take a little extra time on the Preseason Top 50 section of this survey. Last year we didn't have a whole lot of interaction there. I'm fine with taking some lumps from parents or kids about where I rank players BUT I'd hate to leave off a significant player or rank a player too high who may be injured or banged up into the season. We are hoping to produce a few more feature stories this season, so even if you don't have anything right now, PLEASE keep this in mind. If there is anything we should know about heading into the season (ex.: upcoming milestones for either team or player; coaching milestones; historical anniversaries; planned celebrations).
Is there a certain game that you would recommend our staff try and cover this season. We will once again have a Game of the Week for the eight regular season weeks (excluding Saladino Week) - so as the season goes along, if you have a really important game that pops up, please let us know.
Part of our planned preseason coverage this season will be a preseason Top 50. Please list THREE of your players and up to THREE opposing players who stood out to you last season. YOUR selections will be completely confidential.
We are always looking to improve our coverage and would LOVE any input you may have on any different ways we can bring you better coverage.
