Jesuit’s McCall Biemiller picked up his second win of the season with three scoreless innings, as the Tigers offense exploded with a 12 run fourth inning. DJ Pirela lead off the inning with a double, stole third and scored the deciding run on a Vince DeCarlo ground ball, Dean Spoto doubled in a pair and Jack Clark had an RBI triple. Noah Sheffield had two RBI hits in the inning and scored twice; Jacob Lozano went 1-for-1 with a run and three RBI.

Vinny Dinzeo‘s two-run double got the Bulls offense going in a four-run first, going 3-for-3, with two runs and a walk. Javier Nahas-Hoyer worked two scoreless innings as Bloomingdale’s starter, striking out a pair, before turning the ball over to Hayden Porter who worked three scoreless, striking out a pair. Cooper Hinson and Pierce Collins both scored twice in the win. Wharton scored a pair of runs in the seventh with a hit batter and a double from Chase Anello, setting up an RBI single from Jeremiah Brown and a run-scoring double from Justis Meadows (2-for-4).

Alonso’s Alvin Santiago worked five shutout innings, striking out four and allowing just three hits to earn his first win of the season as the Ravens offense took control early and put the game out of reach with a seven-run fourth. Landon NunezJordan Brautigam (double), Santiago, and Carson Vega each drove in two runs. Kason Bell had two of Steinbrenner’s three hits.

Hillsborough’s Ozzy Font roped his second double of the game to drive in a pair of ninth-inning runs and pushing the Terriers to a Saladino Silver Division win. Daniel Pena was 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in a run in the win. Antonio Davis worked three innings of relief to earn the win, allowing one hit and striking out one. Liam Harris and Brayden Nanns both drove in two runs for the Patriots.

Owen Leever pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings, allowing just two hits and struck out five in a win for the Hawks. Zalen Hicks earned the save recording the final four outs without a base runner. An error and wild pitch allowed Armwood to get on the board in the fourth, then added two more in the next inning on back-to-back doubles from Carlos Navarro and Christopher Hudge.

Seffner Christian’s Ethan Duncan picked up his second win on the mound this week with a complete-game effort against Sumner, allowing four hits, three walks and struck out two. Jenuel Ortiz went 2-for-3, with two walks, a stolen base, two runs and two RBI for the Crusaders, and Cyrus Shokrani went 2-for-3, with a run and RBI. Isaiah Welch had two of the Stingray’s for hits.

A pair of Robinson sophomore hurlers held Riverview in check as the Knights scored in each of the final five innings. Santiago Rojas, who pitched six, shutout innings in a win against St. Pete Catholic on Monday, worked six innings on Saturday, striking out five and allowing one run, before handing things off to Jack Perkins pitched one scoreless inning to earn the save. On offense for the Knights senior Lucas Hursey went 2-for-3, with a walk, run and RBI. Elijah Tishman (1-for-3) drove in Riverview’s lone run with a sac fly in the sixth inning.

First-inning singles from Brody Bellomo and Brent Ferris were cashed in on a fly ball hit from Blake Hafner (2-for-4, two RBI) as Cambridge Christian opened the Saladino Bronze division tournament with a win against Brandon. Aidan Junttila (2-for-4, two RBI) cut the lead in half with an RBI ground ball throughout he left side for the Eagles in the home-half, but the Lancers put the game out of reach with a three-run fourth inning – highlighted by a RBI hits from Robert Moore and another hit from Ferris (2-for-4, two RBI, run). Trigg Listerman earned the win on the mound working four innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out six, and had an RBI single in the fifth. Charles Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with a double, run and RBI for the Eagles.

Carrollwood Day runs it to 8-0 on the season with a 12-0 win to open its Saladino Bronze Division play. Christian Clarke‘s two-run home run to left set the tone as the Patriots put together 13 hits. Nick Riedel, who had an RBI double soon after the homer, pitched 3 2/3 innings earning the win, allowing just two hits and striking out seven. Clarke finished 2-for-3 with a walk, stolen base, three runs and three RBI, while Julian Earle was 3-for-4 with a double, walk, run and RBI.

DJ Valley‘s RBI double gave the Phoenix the lead for good in a four-run fifth inning, Van Gannon drove in a run and pitched six innings to earn the win. Joe DiCecco was 2-for-4, with and RBI and two runs, and Jose Gutierrez went 3-for-3 with an RBI in the win. TBT’s Mathew Rojas hit his second home run in as many games, and Luke Johnson, Xavier Johnson, and Jordan Shultz each had two hits for the Titans.
