Max Herro had his first two varsity hits, scored a run and had an RBI sac fly for Lennard; and Samuel Nobrega drove in a pair. Jacob Sjerven had two RBI for Brandon; and Francis Ovalles scored twice.

Keane Hyer (1.2ip, BB, 5 K) and Ryan Thompson (Win, 3ip, H, BB, 5 K) kept the visiting Mavericks off the board after two early runs; Samir Mohammed went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI; and Vincent DeCarlo doubled and scored three times in the win.

Dillon Knight pitched 3 2/3 innings, struck out eight and was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Jonathan Williams was -2-for-3 for King, hitting a solo home run to right in the third inning, Martin Galo had two hits including a double and scored once; and Xavier Gori had a double and two singles.

The Panthers used five, first-inning hits to take the lasting advantage against the Hawks with Jordan Olivia (3-for-4, 4 RBI) driving in his team’s first two runs. Jackson Cucchi went 2-for-3, with a double, RBI and three runs in the win; Brody Vermette singled in a pair in the first; and Logan Cucchi struck out one in a clean seventh inning of relief. Rhys Brush was 2-for-3 for Armwood, and Rhyan Yetman doubled.
