East Bay battled back after spotting Durant a four-run lead to take a win, thanks in part to a Johnathan Bryant (3-for-4, two RBI) RBI single lined to left in the seventh inning. Brady Robello pitched two scoreless innings of relief with a pair of strikeouts to earn the win; and Connor Gavigan held Durant to a walk in a scoreless seventh to pick up his first save. Gavigan was 2-for-3 in the win with a two-run double for the Indians. Shawn Graves was 2-for-3 for the Cougars and Zach Nero struck out seven, allowing two earned runs in 4 1/3 innings of a no-decision.

Steinbrenner junior Beaux Livingston struck out six, while allowing just three hits and a walk one six shutout innings helping the Warriors to the team’s first win of the year. After four scoreless innings Will Hoblitzell (2-for-4, two runs, two RBI) and Gavin Mix hit RBI doubles to give Steinbrenner all it would need in this game. Ethan Savinon had two of the Dragons four hits, including a double.
