East Bay picked up its third walk-off win of the season, taking a game that saw five lead changes and culminated in a Connor Gavigan RBI single. Gavigan had a solo home run in the second; while Rowland Ruiz Jr. got the scoring started with an RBI double in the first. Qwenlen Bennett went 2-for-4 with two runs scored; Johnathan Bryant was 2-for-4 with an RBI double; and Jeffrey Diab drove in a run. After doubling in a pair of runs int he fourth, Ethan Cunningham was called on to stop the bleeding in the seventh and got a pop out to set up the Indians final rally. For the Warriors, Coby Moeshing’s two-run double highlighted a five-run fourth inning, the Warriors scored three on two bases-loaded walks and a hit batter in the top of the seventh; and Will Hoblitzel was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

After Riverview took a first inning lead, Wharton finally got going with three runs in the fourth, sparked by an RBI double by Robert Sindelar to pull ahead for the win. Cooper Antalek pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk, while striking out nine; before giving way to Connor Evans who struck out two in a 1-2-3 seventh inning. Evans doubled and scored a run in the win; and Alex Capezutti doubled in a run in the seventh. Yadiel Rivera-Morales got the Sharks on the board in the first with an RBI single to right; and senior Peyton Newman went 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Lancers sophomore Trigg Listerman held Santa Fe to just three singles and two walks in a 90-pitch, complete-game shutout, and fanned a dozen. A two-out Luca Gonzalez single lined to right field gave the Lancers the lead in the fifth inning, and CCS padded the advantage on a productive out by Blake Hafner and an RBI single by Ethan Santos lined up the middle. Jayden Jardine was 2-for-4 with a run scored in the win.

Freedom jumped out on Leto early and held off a rally attempt by the Falcons late. Diego Puente-Marquez got things started driving in a run with a single in the first; Logan Handville doubled in the second and scored on a Keven Made single to left; Gavin Tarr kept it going with an RBI double; and Devon Acord (2-for-4) singled in made to highlight a four-run second. Trent Strawser worked five innings on the mound, allowed one run on four hits and struck out four. Brett Valerio was 3-for-4 for the Falcons with two doubles; and Maykol Fernandez was 2-for-3 with an RBI double.

Hillsborough answered a first-inning Morgan run and took control in the second inning on RBI singles by Argemis Monier (2-for-4, run, two RBI) and Ja’zyhun Redd (3-for-4, two RBI). That’s all Rocco Sabella needed, as the junior went seven innings, allowing one unearned run and struck out nine. Sabella was 2-for-4 at the plate, and Chase Dennis went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Yeilen Rodriguez was 2-for-2 with a walk for the Mustangs.

Blake Brown singled in the game’s first run and scored on a steal of home in the first inning as the Crusaders took control early. DJ Ford lined a home run to right field in the third and Brown followed suit a little bit later in the inning, driving his second dinger over the right-center wall. Jack Smythe tacked on a sixth-inning insurance run with a two-out, RBI single to the left side of the infield.

Michael Medina worked 3 1/3 innings of relief, striking out two and allowing just two hits to pick up the win. Justin Estevez was 2-for-3 and scored three, and Nahz Taylor was 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Christian Skaggs was 2-for-2 for the Longhorns with two doubles, two runs and two RBI; Mikie Locke went 2-for-4; Connor Adechoubou went 2-for-3; and Luis Valentin-Ramos went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

A Griffin Boesen grand slam pushed the game out of reach in the third, and Mohammed singled in another for some insurance in the fourth inning. Cannon Murtagh went 1-for-3 with a double and a run.

Deep into extra innings, Plant got six-straight aboard to start the 11th inning and hung seven runs to claim a road win on Saturday. A productive ground ball to short by Wyatt Patterson broke the tie, and Will Meade (2-for-6) drove in a pair with a single to lead the rally. Coy Keller allowed one run over seven relief innings, giving up five hits and striking out seven to earn the win. A two-run home run by Winston Pennant gave Sumner an early lead; Matt Rangel (2-for-4, double, two runs) singled and scored in the second, and doubled and scored in the fourth.

Foundation Christian put up a crooked number in every inning and forced an early end on the road at Oasis Christian. The Panthers made four walks and a catcher’s interference hurt by scoring three, first-inning runs. Henry Salter doubled in a run in the second; Caleb Hom (run), Luke Michie (two runs) and Sebastian Garcia (three runs) all had two hits in the win. Evan Maloney picked up the win, allowing two runs on two hits and six walks, while striking out four in his three innings of work.
