Senior Eli Edwards pitched five innings, allowing one unearned run on just one hit, while striking out two; Mason Johnson was 2-for-2 with a run and two RBI; and Vaughn Osting went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Jackson McClellan stayed hot in the Cougars second game driving in a pair with his second double of the day as Durant pulled away from Newsome in the third inning. Aidan Junttila allowed one first-inning walk to the Wolves on two walks and a Ocean Cozart RBI sac fly, but held Newsome hitless over three innings (three walks, two RBI) to pick up his second win of the season. David Paredes finished off the final four innings, allowing just two hits and a walk and struck out four to earn a save. Shawn Graves (RBI, two runs) and Tristan Macpherson (double, RBI) each had two hits in the win for the Cougars.

Steinbrenner tied the game in the fifth on an error, but Alonso regained the lead in the sixth as Aiden Sansing doubled in a pair with a line drive to right to give the Ravens the edge.

Coy Keller picked up the win, shaking off a three-run first inning to go four frames, striking out four; while Joel Salinas pitched three scoreless innings of relief with just one hit and also had four strikeouts.

East Bay’s Connor Gavigan hit an RBI double in the ninth as the Indians won in extras against Plant in a pitching duel. Cameron Cook worked five innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit with two strikeouts in a no-decision, before JJ Groover pitched four no-hit innings of relief and was rewarded with a win. Johnathan Bryant was 3-for-3 for East Bay, knocking in a run in the first. Plant’s lone hit came from Rhett Dixson to start the third and Gio Benitez drove in the Panthers run on a sac fly. Kolt Patterson worked four innings for the Panthers to start the game, giving up one run on four hits with five strikeouts and Truman Mayer pitched five innings of relief, holding the Indians to five hits, but ended up with the loss despite three strikeouts.

From Las Vegas and the Bishop Gorman Invitational, Jett Walters held Gahr to one run on six hits, while striking out seven over six innings to pick up his third win; and Briggs Tibbals struck out one in a 1-2-3 converted save. Lucas Farrar tripled in the second and scored on a Ben O’Brien ground ball; but the Gladiators answered right back with a home run.  Berkeley Prep took control in the third with Walters singling home the deciding run, then scoring on a wild pitch; and Farrar singled and scored on a Mason Warren double in the sixth.
