Manny Delgado was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI double in the first which proved the difference as the Gryphons won on the road against Blake. Jacob Dial triple in a pair of runs, Carter LeBlanc struck out four earning the win, while Adrian Cartaya struck out five and earned a three-inning save.

Plant freshman Cash Strayer doubled to lead things off on the road at Jefferson, scoring on a ground ball from older brother Conley, before Bryce Pelleriti’s solo homer to left gave the Panthers all it needed for the win. Thomas Bolton singled in a run, Robert Satin cleared the bases with a double and Michael Hawks homered to key a seven-run fifth inning. Hawks also earned the win on the mound, striking out four and allowing one run in five innings.

Grant Varner’s two-run double pushed Tampa Prep’s lead to four and secured a road win for the Terrapins at Academy at the Lakes. Noah Sheffield was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a steal of home, Ty Jones and Roger Haughey both had two hits in the win, while Will Sotiropoulos struck out five in 5 2/3 no-hit innings. Liam Akins doubled to start the home seventh for the Wildcats putting two in scoring position as a wild pitch and RBI groundout by Tanner Pelaez accounted for the two AATL runs.

Northside Christian senior Ryan Cerrone struck out five in as many shutout innings, allowing just four hits and helped his own cause with a solo home run setting off a five-run sixth for the Mustangs. William Gregory doubled in a pair, and Ben Bridges was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI. Vincent Docobo hit a solo home run and Brian Canasi was 2-for-3 for the Crusaders.
