Freshman RJ Torres doubled in a pair of runs to center to break a sixth-inning tie and give Lennard the edge in a district win at Bloomingdale. Jack Mueller pitched four innings of relief, striking out seven allowing two unearned runs. John Smith was 2-for-2, with a double, two walks and scored twice, Logan Cover was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for the Longhorns. Drake Harman hit a solo home run and a double for the Bulls, and Jack Owens was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Quentin Meadows home run kicked off an eight-run third inning for the Wildcats, all in support of three Wharton pitchers who held Middleton hitless in a five-inning game. Evan Chrest struck out six in three innings of work.

Sickles took control in the third, scoring two runs on an error and two more on a home run by Caden McDonald; Avery Bishop and Bryce Vance (double) drove in runs in the sixth as well, while McDonald picked up his fifth win of the season, striking out 10 in 6 1/3 inning, before Kyle Timko finished off the game. For the Chargers, Zach Redner struck out six taking the loss on the mound, and also had a double.

Sumner’s Jesse Robledo laid down a bunt to first base allowing Luke Parson’s to score the winning run in the eighth inning. Noah Hancock provided 3 2/3 innings of unblemished relief, striking out five and earning the win. Garrett Morgan doubled and drove in a pair and Jamal Roche was 2-for-4 with a run scored for the Stingrays. Peyton Nisy was 2-for-4 with run scored, and Jacob Garbett had a single and scored a run for the Spartans.

McCall Biemiller struck out five allowing two runs (one earned) in six innings of work, before Preston Shembeckar pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

Scout Simpson was 2-for-2 with a run, RBI and two walks, Miguel Pina had a double and three RBI in the win and Anthony Dimillo scored twice and drove in two runs, all supporting six strong innings from junior Steven Rojas, who struck out five. Salvy Urso was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Terriers, and Tanner Jones drove in Urso in the loss.
