Javy Hernandez hit a home run, Bryan Perez had a double and a triple and Christian Suarez struck out 10 as the Falcons defeated Hillsborough in district play. Terence Doston had a triple for Hillsborough.

Junior Brendan Gerena-Lee got things started for the Panthers with an RBI single in the first, followed by another RBI single from senior Troy Gonzalez. Gonzalez came through with a bases clearing double in the second and Daniel Portillo followed suit with his own bases loaded double to key an eight-run inning for Bell Creek. Gerena-Lee pitched five shutout innings on the mound, allowing just two hits, two walks and striking out six to earn the win.

Cambridge Christian dropped a district game to Lakeland Christian on Wednesday as the Vikings got a three-RBI game from Cole Kramer. For the Lancers, Blake McCoy was 2-for-4, while Jonah Rawls and Jacob Lightbody each had a hit and RBI.

Steinbrenner senior Mikey Mullins drove in five runs, including a three-run home run as the Warriors defeated Bloomingdale on the road Wednesday night. Tommy Malouf was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored, Adam Fisher had a pair of singles and two runs scored, and senior Bryce Leonhardt earned the win for the Warriors. For the Bulls, Kyle Merkle slugged his fifth home run of the season and had a three-hit game and Colby Shelton hit his second home run of the year.

Junior MacAllister Jorgensen went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI, Matt Masses had a double and two RBI, and Brendan Herrick earned the win tossing six innings on the mound. For Durant, Luke Cadwallader and Javy Quintana each had two hits, a double and an RBI.
