Freshman Blake Hafner took over on the mound in a tie game at Tampa Catholic in the sixth inning and retired the side in order, then when his opportunity at the plate came around in the seventh he slapped a groundball up the middle giving Cambridge Christian the lead as the Lancers poured on four runs and Hafner worked around a leadoff walk to close out the game and secure his team’s sixth-straight win. Ian Jansen (RBI groundout), Luca Gonzalez (RBI single and two runs scored) and Braiden Price (RBI double) each drove in runs in the final inning for CCS. Nathan Hazard and Alex Quintero (double, run) each had two hits in the win, and Will Snider held Tampa Catholic to two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts in five innings on the mound. Jack Smythe and Jose Carrero had RBI hits for the Crusaders in the fifth inning.

Tampa Prep sophomore Erik Skiendziel tossed a five-inning no-hitter as the Terrapins put up 11 hits in support and stretched a win streak to six games. Liam Akins (2-for-4, two RBI) singled in the game’s first run, Derek Stiglich was 3-for-3 with a double two RBI and two runs; Jordan Della Rocca was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs; and Grant Brooks went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Skiendziel hit Jenuel Ortiz with a pitch in the fourth inning and Kris Colondres drove in the Crusaders lone run with a groundout to rightfielder Will Futch, who fired to first for the out.

The Buccaneers took control in the second inning, first on back-to-back doubles by Ben O’Brien and Joseph Troupe, who then scored on a wild pitch. Parker Mitzel had and RBI double in the third, and an RBI groundout in the fifth inning.

Ashton Brown‘s two-run homer in the first inning pushed Carrollwood Day’s lead out to four and assured victory in the Patriots final regular season game of the year. Brown was 3-for-4 in the win, scoring twice, Julian Earle was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI, Steven Vargo was 3-for-3, with an RBI and two runs, and both Luke Anderson and Allen Soriano drove in a pair in the win. Nick Riedel struck out four across five innings, allowing two runs and Matt Porta finished off the game with two no-hit innings and two strikeouts.

For the second Tuesday in a row, East Bay won an extra-inning thriller, scoring three runs in the ninth to defeat Durant for the second time this season. Rory Beauford Jr. (2-for-5, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R) broke the stalemate with an RBI single into right, and the Indians added two more when Trenden Norman singled in Beauford and Connor Gavigan (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 R) with a single. Gavigan who earned last week’s win over Newsome in extras, gave the Indians 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pickup his second win of the season, striking out six and allowing three hits. Rowland Ruiz Jr. was 2-for-4 for the Indians, and Jeffrey Diab was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Tristan Macpherson was 3-for-5 for Durant with a double, home run (the first of his high school career), three RBI and two runs scored, and Brady Kelley was 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Cash Strayer doubled with one out and Danny Cerelli tied the game with a double, and Jackson Cucchi put Plant ahead with an RBI single ground into center field. Plant took an early lead with an RBI single by Brody Vermette in the second and an RBI double by Jordan Olivia in the third. But Robinson chipped away in the fifth inning with a run on a Collin Rosenberg single, and took a brief lead when Nathan Porath doubled in a pair to right field in the sixth.

Jesuit went off on Georgia’s No. 1 ranked team Blessed Trinity scoring five runs in each of the first two innings, belting seven extra-base hits including home runs from Robby Santana (2-for-2 with a double, two RBI), Samir Mohammed (four RBI) and Vincent DeCarlo. Kaden Waechter got things going in the first with an RBI double, and Wilson Andersen held the Titans to a single hit and one walk over four innings, while striking out eight. Mohammed finished off the final inning of the mercy-rule win with a pair of K’s.
