The Falcons pounded out 14 hits to win a district game against Chamberlain. Joshua Cruz, who is crushing the ball thus far, stayed hot with a two run homer for Leto and junior Christian Suarez improved to 2-0 on the year with an eight strikeout complete-game.

Sickles pitcher Dylan Eskew followed up his no-hitter last Thursday, by tossing a complete-game, 10-strikeout, three-hitter as the Gryphons defeated district opponent Steinbrenner for the first time in the two programs’ history. Eskew, a Miami verbal commit, also had a triple and an RBI in the win, and Trey Bacon drove in the other Gryphons run. Dylan Garcia doubled in the first and was driven in by Noah Luke for Steinbrenner in the first.
