AJ Jackson, who scored the eventual game winner crossed the plate three times for the Indians, while Julian Rivera (double), John Patterson (RBI) and Dan Wright (run) each had three hits. For the Cowboys, Sebastian Greico had three hits, including two doubles, Frank Perez had a pair of hits, and Ruben Espinal scored three times. Javy Lopez pitched six innings of relief for the Indians and earned the win, and Angel Lebron worked the final two outs to pick up the save.

For the second time this season, two highly-touted seniors squared off on the mound as Jefferson’s Mike Dominguez (FSU signee) faced off with Sickles’ Dylan Eskew (Miami signee). Both pitched five innings, each allowing a hit and a walk, while Dominguez edged Eskew in strikeouts 9-to-8. The Dragons took an extra-inning win off the Gryphons in Saladino Tournament play, but on Tuesday it would be Sickles that came away the winners as senior Danny Bernstein scored the deciding run on an error to end the game. Trey Bacon tossed two scoreless innings of relief and was rewarded with a victory.
